Sylvia "Sue" Brand Fox, a homemaker, known for her cooking, love of gardening, and dedication to her family, died Friday, January 22, 2010.  She was 88.  She was born in Brooklyn, NY on September 11, 1921. She and her late husband, Ulises A. Fox, became Daytona Beach residents in 1945. "Sue" was an active member of Temple Israel where she was a long time member of the sisterhood.

Survivors include her brothers-in-law, Howard Fox, Ormond Beach, and Dr. Channing Fox, Pompano Beach, her children ; Paul Fox (wife Mary), Amherst, NY, Dr. Pamela Kirby, Debra Brandt (James), Dr. Fred Fox (wife Diane), Dr. David Fox(wife Ruth); her 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.  Mrs. Fox was preceded in death by her husband, and daughter, Barbara Ann Schamaun.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday January 24, 2010 at Mount Sinai Cemetery on White Street in Daytona Beach.
